07.11.24 - Netball Tournament, Round 1
The team played three games in round one of the tournament, recording two 2-0 wins and losing one match 2-0. The team showed excellent teamwork and sportsmanship throughout the event and we are very proud of their dedication and commitment.
03.06.25 - Year 5 Tournament
Year 5 took part in their first tournament in preparation for taking the reigns next year as Year 6, and the quality of their performance bodes well for 2025/26! They played 6 games, winning 5 and drawing 1, finishing the day in first place.
Athletics
Cross Country
Children in Year 5 and 6 spent the first few weeks of term training hard in preparation for the Havering competition. A Year 5 team was selected to participate in the even on 9th October and performed very well, with notable top 10 finishes from Luke (5th), Joseph (7th) and Ava (7th). The boys' collective score also earnt the team the honour of joint 1st place!
Sportshall Athletics
Results, from a field of around 30 schools , were as follows:

Quad Kids
Quad Kids competitions are held in the summer term. Children from Year 1-6 were all invited to trial in the latter half of the Spring Term, and those who were selected have begun training in preparation for the tournaments. Details about the event can be found at quadkids.org.
Year 5/6 - 04/06/25
The Year 5/6 teams kicked things off in style, with a host of impressive performances; the final results are now in, and as hoped the teams performed very well, both with top 10 finishes of around 40 schools competing:
Year 5 - 3rd
Year 6 - 7th
On an individual level, we again had some phenomenal success, particularly for both boys and girls in Year 5 - across all events, Ava came in first place and Luke in second of the roughly 150 top athletes from across the borough. Mention should also go to Fletcher, who came in an excellent 7th place overall.
Year 6 also had some fantastic overall achievements, with Charlie in 4th place for the Year 6 boys and Milan in 8th for the girls.
There were also some fantastic highly placed finishes in individual disciplines, all again from around 150 of the best Y5/6 athletes from across Havering, including:

On an individual level the impressive record continued, with Sam in third place for Year 4 boys and Millie in seventh for Year 3 girls, of the roughly 150 top athletes from across the borough.
